About

"Whisper from the Dust" is an original 50 minute musical production written by the group, Touch of Class.  It was performed for over eight years all over Utah.  It was even performed for a BYU Women's Conference, a Washington D.C. women's conference, and for all the general authorities' wives.  (Sis. Hinckley loved it!)  Our group has 4 ladies--3 who changed costumes to portray all the different characters and 1 who was the narrator/accompaniast.  It has been performed with as many as 20 ladies and been on every continent of the world.  People who have seen this show said they would never read the Book of Mormon the same again as it made them really think of the women in those times.  Currently the entire script is available, complete with all dialogue, music, ideas for decorating and costuming.  At the time of purchase, you receive a cd that allows you to make as many copies as you need for all people involved.  In addition, you can purchase a cd of Touch of Class singing the songs with an orchestra, to get an idea of how the songs sound.
A little about

 Touch of Class

Sally Bytheway Brinton:  This lyric soprano has been an instructor in vocal technique in local musical theater productions and has acted in TV commercials.  She has directed plays with area youth, and also sang in Lex de Azevedo's Millennium Choir.  She especially enjoyed performing twice with the group in Jerusalem.  She is currently the director of the Sally Bytheway Chorale, as well as a busy mom and a great cook.  Somehow she manages to always find time to pursue her love of music.

Kathy Agrelius:  Kathy is a mezzo soprano who has toured the country with the USO and the New Freedom Singers.  She has played in local and out of state theater productions and can be heard on radio advertisements.  She also performed with the Millennium Choir.  When not singing, Kathy can be found backstage doing hair and makeup, since she has her cosmetology license.  At present, she is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse.

Janie Wallace:  This versatile alto has been singing, acting professionally, and writing musicals for many years now.  She has enjoyed playing leading and character parts in numerous plays, has worked in TV commercials and industrial films, and has directed Shakespearean plays for children.  Janie has written the music for historical plays for Council Bluffs, Iowa and South Jordan, Utah.  She is a past executive director of ARTS, Inc. (Artistic Resources for Teacher and Students) which all 4 ladies are still performing in after 20 years, taking classical music to the elementary schools.

Pat Marlor:  Not merely the group's accompanist, Pat is an accomplished pianist who has been playing for theatrical productions since the age of 13.  She led a chorus of children during her tenure as an elementary teacher, currently teaches piano, and continues as her ward choir accompanist (a position she has held for over 25 years!).  She also loves to stitch, and like the others in the group, enjoys being a Grandma.  Her organizational skills and sense of humor add a great deal to the group.
